Where we make an impact

Our site is broken down into geographic areas and the issues that affect them. We try to create a symbiotic connection between geography and the social/political factors that affect men, women, and children. About Us

Global Image is the result of combining the talents of like-minded individuals in an effort to confront a diverse range of world-wide issues by putting the power of change within your grasp. We are an advocacy site that first and foremost seeks to bring awareness to the multifaceted issues facing individuals in the developing world. We provide a forum for discussion, researching issues and the application of philanthropic principles in an effort to shed light on the oppressive nature in which the majority of our population lives. Through Global Image you not only have access to information from peer-reviewed, scholarly publications, up to the minute news, blogs, and podcasts, you can also see the images of the individuals confronting the very same issues that you are researching. As a means of putting a local face to global issues, we provide high quality, royalty-free images taken from locations spanning the globe. Our photographers are the driving force behind our committment to change. These images are offered both as a means to heighten awareness and generate a common dialogue, while producing a medium that creates a stream of funding to carry out our mission. The proceeds derived from these images are dispersed among various non-profits dealing specifically with global health issues, personal security, and the promotion of children's rights. We more exclusively maintain a special emphasis on the promotion of and the securing of social reproduction factors that confront the global population of women. The authors and artists behind the site are involved in working relationships with various nonprofit, nongovernmental, and research-based organizations.
